Book rooms

These rules affect the following properties:

• Buildings A, B and C on Eschersheimer Landstrasse
• EL 50
• Gervinusstrasse
• Schmidtstrasse
• Schwedlerstraße

Special rooms of the category "Event" cannot be booked in ASIMUT.

• In principle, all rooms are available to all students and teachers of the HfMDK.
• There is no entitlement to a specific room and a specific time.
• All room bookings must be made online.
• Special rooms "Event" cannot be booked in ASIMUT.

• Booking horizon: From the beginning of the semester, bookings can be made for the entire semester.
• Booking contingent:
  • Teachers are provided with a booking quota with which rooms can be booked
  • Both your own bookings and the fixed book ings are deducted from the booking quota.
  • The available contingent can be viewed at any time in the main menu.

• Booking horizon: 7 days continuous
• Booking contingent:
  • Students are provided with a booking quota with which rooms can be booked
  • Students can make bookings for a total of 5 hours.
  • Past bookings do not count towards the quota, so new bookings can be made.
  • The remaining available quota can be viewed at any time in the main menu.
  • During core hours (10 am to 4 pm), only 2 hours can be booked.
  • Bookings made at short notice and ending within the next 4 hours and 15 minutes do not count towards the quota.
  • Bookings may not be shorter than 30 minutes.
  • There must be at least 60 minutes between two bookings of the same person in the same room.
  • Short overrooms can only be booked on the same day within the next 4 hours and 15 minutes

• Bookings can be made at any time in ASIMUT and changed independently until the beginning.
• Please release unused reservations online, especially if the use ends prematurely - in the interest of all who are looking for rooms.
• A direct transfer to third parties is not permitted!

• Each reservation must be confirmed within the first 15 minutes of occupancy.
• The confirmation can be made at the Pforte by picking up the key or via smartphone in the university's own wi fi network. Students can pick up keys for teachers, the reservation is then considered confirmed.
• If the reservation is not confirmed, it expires without replacement.
• The person making the booking can add further persons to their booking as participants.
• The staff of the gate will issue keys only to participants of the booking.

During the lecture period:

• Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m
• Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m

During the lecture-free period:

• Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m
• Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m

Exceptions to the opening hours must be applied for in writing to the KBB in good time, at the latest by the 12th day of the preceding month, and reasons must be given.

• The person whose name is on the booking is responsible for the proper use of the room.
• Rooms are to be used properly. In particular, no drinks or food may be placed on instruments. Windows must not be opened during practice, lessons, rehearsals (noise protection). At the end of use, the room must be cleaned up and left as it was found. Music stands must remain in the room or be returned. Do not forget to turn off the lights!
• Please report any damage at the gate, via the online Report Deficiencies form, or by email to Housekeeping (hausdienst@hfmdk-frankfurt.de).
• Private teaching is strictly prohibited in all college spaces. Violation will result in revocation of permission to practice, de-registration, or in-service consequences.
• All rooms have basic equipment, which is listed in ASIMUT. Any additional requirements, in particular for event technology, must be applied for in good time, but no later than three weeks in advance. Any additional costs incurred will be borne by the respective department.
