Meet the Makers: Isaac Spencer

Isaac Spencer is a dancer, teacher, mentor, rehearsal director and currently the acting professor for ballet techniques at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts.

In addition to teaching ballet, partnering, and staging repertory, he works closely with the team of the HfMDK dance department to foster an environment of learning where students have agency and actively participate in shaping the field in which they would like to enter. This is achieved through practical and theoretical courses anchored in a continual praxis of critical reflection and ethical responsibility, fuelled by the spirit of innovation and professionalism.
