Student Survey 2024 - Feedback please!

Dear Stu­dents,

We know that stu­dy­ing at the HfMDK can be as en­ri­ching as it is chal­len­ging. It is im­portant to de­ve­lop crea­ti­ve po­ten­ti­al, but also to deal with a va­rie­ty of pres­su­res. Our ob­ser­va­tions - both from na­ti­on­wi­de stu­dies and di­rec­t­ly from ever­y­day life at the uni­ver­si­ty - show that stu­dents are con­fron­ted with va­rious dif­fi­cul­ties. Some strugg­le with cri­ses or im­pairments that make it dif­fi­cult to stu­dy; others lack in­for­ma­ti­on about sup­port ser­vices that may have been avail­ab­le for a long time. Some may even choo­se not to use sup­port ser­vices.

We re­co­gni­ze this: What is nee­ded are not only in­for­ma­ti­on and sup­port, but also ef­fec­tive stra­te­gies for over­co­m­ing the­se chal­len­ges. To de­ve­lop the­se stra­te­gies, we are con­duc­ting a com­pre­hen­si­ve sur­vey of stu­dents at the HfMDK in May 2024.

Here are the key points:

• You can par­ti­ci­pa­te in the sur­vey un­til May 31st.
• The sur­vey is an­ony­mous.

• The sur­vey can be com­ple­ted in Eng­lish or Ger­man.
• The sur­vey will take ap­pro­xi­mate­ly 20 to 30 mi­nu­tes to com­ple­te.
• The sur­vey is best com­ple­ted on a lap­top or smart­pho­ne in a ho­ri­zon­tal ori­en­ta­ti­on.
