Tanztreffen der Jugend, 26 September 2015
Prof. Ingo Diehl is invited as an expert to the panel discussion "Talking about Dance" in the professional programme of the Tanztreffen der Jugend of the Berliner Festspiele. During the festival, workshops will be led by MA CoDE Alumni Berit Jentzsch and Kaya Kolodziejczyk.
Physical Introduction at Tanz im August, 14 - 29 August 2015
MA CoDE alumna Anja Bornsek leads the Physical Introductions at this year's Tanz im August festival in Berlin. The format was developed by MA CoDE and first performed at the festival in 2013. You can find more details about the format under "Projects".
European Summer School, 13 - 31 July 2015
Once again this year, M.F.A. Dance students from Hollins University (USA) will attend classes with internationally renowned artists and scholars and exchange ideas with MA CoDE students as part of the European Summer School. The three-week residency in Frankfurt is a cooperation with the Master's program in Contemporary Dance Education at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts, the Forsythe Company and the Künstlerhaus Mousonturm.
Quality Pact for Teaching Conference in Leipzig, 25 - 26 June 2015
During the symposium "Learning and Teaching Forms" of the BMBF, Susanne Triebel presents working formats such as Teaching-Lab, Speed-Dating as well as the mentoring format of the MA CoDE programme in a workshop of the specialist group Art and Music within the framework of the Network of Music Universities.
Piecemaker annotations on co-teaching formats, 22 - 25 June 2015
As part of our co-teaching week, 5th MA CoDE Generation students will trial co-teaching as a team as well as different feedback formats. This studio practice will be annotated and evaluated using a version of the Piecemaker program applied within the Motion Bank. This will reflect on their own practice and generate material that can be fed back into their teaching practice.
Profile raising of the MA CoDE curriculum, 13 June 2015
Revision of the study and examination regulations of the MA CoDE together with the Bologna Officer of the HfMDK. Students and alumni of the 3rd, 4th and 5th generation discuss development possibilities of the MA CoDE for the future together with the programme management. The changes are intended to sharpen the profile of the degree programme in its orientation towards practice-based research in dance and to create space for the development of innovative mediation formats.
Symposium: Artistic Practice as Research, 9 May 2015
On 9 May 2015, the College will host the symposium 'Artistic Practice as Research'. It is initiated by the WG Artistic Research, which was founded in the summer semester 2014 and in which Prof. Diehl has been involved since the beginning. At the symposium, he will give a lecture entitled "Signature Practises 2014", in which he will discuss practice-based research in the MA CoDE.
Research Lecture, April - June 2015
This semester, the "MA CoDE Research Lecture" format will take place for the first time. Selected guests will talk to the students about their research questions and working methods.
