MA CoDE: Summer semester 18
Hollins European Summer School, 24 - 29 July 2018
This year, MA CoDE will participate for one week in the European Summer School at Hollins University (USA). The school organizes an annual three-week residency program in cooperation with MA CoDE, Künstlerhaus Mousonturm and Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company. Renowned international artists and scholars give trainings, workshops and seminars, and top-class performances can be seen. The programme is curated by Christopher Roman. Jeffrey Bullock and Prof. Ingo Diehl will teach a seminar together.

As part of the Applied Anatomy series, Nina Wollny offers an intensive week on Counter Technique. The workshop incorporates a wide range of experiences in movement, reflection and observation.

Submission of topics for master's theses, April 16, 2018
The 6th generation MA CoDE is submitting their master's thesis topics. We keep our fingers crossed for further research and completion.
Hessian Intertanz with Anne Juren, April 13-15, 2018
The HTA-funded collaborative project of the Hessian dance courses "Intertanz" will take place at the HfMDK. The workshop will be led by Anne Juren. The aim is to explore somatic practices and their politics(s) in a practice-oriented way. The project is a further development of the collaboration between the HTA and the dance-related training programmes MA CoDE, BAtanz (HfMDK), MA CUP (Justus-Liebig University Giessen).
Teaching rehearsal with BAs, 12, 16 - 17 April 2018
The final exam teaching rehearsals of the 6th generation in BAtanz at the HfMDK will take place. The new student group of the MA CoDE will also participate in these teaching rehearsals.
Andrea Keiz Video Documentation, April - June 2018
Andrea Keiz gives an introduction to different forms of video documentation and develops individual short trailers together with the students on the basis of different materials developed in the course.
Semester start, April 3, 2018
The summer semester 2018 begins and we welcome the new students of Generation 7. At the same time, the last semester of the current 6th generation begins, which focuses on the final phase of their MA theses. Introductions and first intensive work processes are the start.
