What does it mean to present something on stage in front of an audience - to show, to play, to perform? What aesthetic, ethical and practical questions arise here? In the winter semester 2022/23, the HTA invites ten stage-experienced experts from the fields of acting, performance, choreography, dance and singing to talk about appearances and disappearances, body images and performance concepts, representation and presence, rehearsal processes and the (in)certain something.
