Tanz im Mousonturm: The TIMES / The DEPTHS
Studierende des BAtanz der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt präsentieren am 7., 8. und 9. Juni im Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm einen Abend mit sechs Stücken, die sich mit Begriffen wie Ordnung und Wildheit, Richtung und Abweichung, Vernunft und Intuition auseinandersetzen.
Der Titel ist ein Appell, sich auf den Geist der Zeit ("spirit of the times") und den Geist der Tiefe ("spirit of the depths") einzustimmen, wie es Carl Jung formuliert hat – auf die Kräfte, die uns sowohl bei unscheinbaren, alltäglichen Aktivitäten als auch bei kreativen und künstlerischen Tätigkeiten antreiben. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit den Gastchoreograf*innen Rena Butler, Kristian Lever und Sade Mamedova haben die Studierenden drei neue Werke geschaffen. Mit „workwithinwork“ von Honorarprofessor William Forsythe, „Samples of Change“ von Kristel van Issum und „Boléros“ von Prof. Damian Gmür werden auch drei bestehende, neu einstudierte Werke gezeigt.
Im Anschluss an die Premiere am 7. Juni findet ein Gespräch mit Sade Mamedova, Rena Butler und Kristian Lever statt, moderiert von den Studierenden und Prof. Dr. Katja Schneider (HfMDK Frankfurt, Tanzwissenschaft).
