Britta Schönbrunn works as an independent dancer, performer and dance educator since over 25 years in the interdisciplinary field of the arts. Her dance-body knowledge and artistic work is marked by a long year experience, dancing in productions of international choreographers as Anna Huber, Heidi Latsky, Christoph Winkler, Ingo Reulecke, Robert Wilson and through an intensive exchange in interdisciplinary, sight-specific projects with artists from the visual arts, contemporary music, performance art, realized in Germany, Japan, Russia and USA. She transmits her embodied experience interwoven with theoretical cognation to various target groups in professional, educational context and intercultural formats for young generations. As a lecturer for somatic and contemporary dance techniques (Yoga/Release-Technique/Contact Improvisation) she worked in different academies for the performing arts, facilitating actors/dancers/stage-directors. In 2017 she finished her Master of Arts in Contemporary Dance Education (MA CoDE/HfMDK).
