Bayreuth Scholarship 2025: Apply now!
HfMDK students of all disciplines and nationalities can now apply for a visit to the Bayreuth Festival from August 14 to 19, 2025 .
The selected scholarship holders will be supported with
- Tickets for three Festival performances: Rheingold, Siegfried, Parsifal
- a supporting program, an international scholarship holder concert and a stay in shared accommodation (see information sheet for details).
Requirements for the application:
- Age: 18-35 years
- In addition to the stay in Bayreuth: attendance of mandatory appointments in Frankfurt (getting to know each other, scholarship holder concert, member jour fixe with final report, see information sheet).

»Der Aufenthalt in Bayreuth war eine wirklich spannende Erfahrung! Auf der einen Seite natürlich die 3 Operbesuche (Der fliegende Holländer, Parsifal, Tannhäuser) in einem Opernhaus von Weltrang mit seiner einzigartigen Akustik. Auf der anderen das Rahmenprogramm, die Möglichkeiten die Villa Wahnfried und das Richard-Wagner-Museum besuchen zu können und einiges mehr. Ein absolutes Highlight war auch die Führung durch das Festspielhaus.
