Chamber Music Master
Course content
The aim of the Master's programme is to provide students with artistic, instrumental and social skills for the subject of chamber music in order to be professionally prepared for the diverse demands of later professional life.
In the course of study, challenging works of chamber music literature of all styles are worked on together.
The Master's programme is designed to enable students to reflect (analysis, understanding of text, variety of sound, intonation, stylistics) and to deal communicatively with the respective works within the various ensembles.
Musically versatile, able to work in a team, independent
Chamber music promotes musical versatility, the ability to work in a team and organisational independence. Deepening and expanding the repertoire, communicative music-making, reflection on one's own role in the ensemble, as well as the constant expansion of instrumental skills are the focus of the course.
The course of study is either in piano chamber music or string chamber music.
