Course content

The aim of the Mas­ter's pro­gram­me is to pro­vi­de stu­dents with ar­tis­tic, in­stru­men­tal and so­ci­al skills for the sub­ject of cham­ber mu­sic in or­der to be pro­fes­sio­nal­ly pre­pa­red for the di­ver­se de­mands of la­ter pro­fes­sio­nal life.

In the cour­se of stu­dy, chal­len­ging works of cham­ber mu­sic li­te­ra­tu­re of all styles are worked on tog­e­ther.

The Mas­ter's pro­gram­me is de­si­gned to en­ab­le stu­dents to re­flect (ana­ly­sis, un­der­stan­ding of text, va­rie­ty of sound, in­to­na­ti­on, sty­listics) and to deal com­mu­ni­ca­tively with the re­spec­tive works wi­t­hin the va­rious en­sem­bles.

Mu­si­cal­ly ver­sa­ti­le, able to work in a team, in­de­pen­dent

Cham­ber mu­sic pro­mo­tes mu­si­cal ver­sa­ti­li­ty, the abi­li­ty to work in a team and or­ga­ni­sa­tio­nal in­de­pen­dence. De­epe­ning and ex­pan­ding the re­per­toire, com­mu­ni­ca­ti­ve mu­sic-ma­king, re­flec­tion on one's own role in the en­sem­ble, as well as the con­stant ex­pan­si­on of in­stru­men­tal skills are the fo­cus of the cour­se.

The cour­se of stu­dy is eit­her in pia­no cham­ber mu­sic or string cham­ber mu­sic.

The Stu­dy and Ex­ami­na­ti­on Re­gu­la­ti­ons (SPO) set out the frame­work con­di­ti­ons and re­gu­la­ti­ons for your stu­dies.
