Self-ser­vice re­cord­ing equip­ment (SAE)

Sin­ce the be­gin­ning of the win­ter se­mes­ter 2024/2025, all mem­bers of the HfMDK Frank­furt have been able to use the self-ser­vice re­cord­ing equip­ment (SAE) in the con­cert halls. Using per­man­ent­ly in­stal­led mi­cro­pho­nes and ca­me­ras, this en­ab­les rehe­ar­sals, con­certs or demo vi­de­os to be re­cor­ded in­de­pendent­ly. The sys­tem is ac­tiva­ted when the halls are in use.

To create a recording, log in with your HfMDK account. After entering a project name, selecting the camera position and amplifying the microphone signals, you can now create as many recordings as you like. The time for a single recording is limited to three hours. Immediately after recording, you will receive a download link via the Nextcloud system. This is available to you for 30 days.

Recordings by the AV department team

The AV de­part­ment will of cour­se con­ti­nue to su­per­vi­se pro­duc­tions and re­cord­ings.

If the­re is an ex­pli­cit need for pro­fes­sio­nal re­cord­ings (e.g. several ca­me­ras and mi­cro­pho­nes, ligh­t­ing equip­ment, per­so­nal sup­port from a sound en­gi­neer/vi­deo pro­du­cer, etc.) and the per­son­nel ca­pa­ci­ty al­lows, the AV de­part­ment team will be hap­py to take on re­cord­ings, pro­duc­tions, live streams, etc.
